Hot Love: Swiss Punk & Wave 1976-1980 Lurker Grand
Edition Patrick Frey, 2007 German/English edition Softcover, 324 pages, 250 x 350 mm Condition: Fine
Hot Love – Swiss Punk & Wave 1976-1980 tells the fascinating story of the pioneering Swiss punk scene from the beginning. The whole story told in chronological order. The country's punk scene emerged in Zurich and Geneva in 1976, around the same time it started in London and New York. Hot Love starts at the very beginning and recounts the complete story until 1980, when Punk went political and much of the energy of the first generation was lost. This great book is the result of several years of research, and features posters, record covers, fanzines, photographs as well as self-designed fashion and other ephemera. This second edition with text in English and German was released after its great success, published in 2006 with text in German and French.
