Finnish photographer Marjaana Kella, in her eponymous photobook, examines the boundaries of portraiture, exploring just how much of a person's interior can be deduced from a lucid depiction of their external aspects. Two bodies of work are presented in the book, one a series of studies of backs of heads, the other portraits of people in a hypnotic trance. A compelling demonstration of the enigma that is photography. With text by Pia Sivenius and an interview with Kella by Jan Kaila.
