Published on the occasion of an exhibition of the same name in Museo de Arte Moderno in Ciudad de México in 2017, La Parte Más Bella / The Most Beautiful Part brings together 115 black and white photographs of 64 artists from the 20th and 21st centuries, from the private collection of Pedro Slim, all having in common the theme of the human body.

The collection of photographs ranges from stylized studio compositions to experimental impressions. The images show a love for the human form – woman and man, heterosexual and homosexual, perfect and imperfect – in all its elegance, eroticism and vulnerability. Some of the photographers exhibited include Larry Clark, Robert Mapplethorpe, Bill Brandt, Bruce Weber, Mark Morrisroe, Danny Lyon, Pierre Molinier, Merry Alpern and Peter Hujar among many others.
