Visionaire is the most unique magazine ever created. Every instalment of the highly-acclaimed portfolio on fashion and art comes as a surprise: it changes theme and format, stretching the imagination and the boundaries of what a publication can be.
This 12th issue published in 1994 gathers reproductions of 60 works by 60 different contributors, including Steven Meisel, Nobuyoshi Araki, Martin Margiela, Steven Klein, Ellen Von Unwerth, Bjork, Barbara Kruger, Nan Goldin, David Armstrong, Mark Morrisroe, Marcelo Krasilcic, among many others. The publication also includes a 12-page booklet of 1994 Fall/Winter runway photography and story by Bill Cunningham. The original artworks were exhibited and auctioned, with all of the proceeds benefiting DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS).
