Good Bye America is German born photographer Volker Corell's look at contemporary life in the United States. Based in Los Angeles since 1978, Corell has focused on American culture and its significant inequalities, all of which are still current today, such as racism, illegal immigration, drug abuse, crime and violence. Full of intense and compelling black and white images, with a bold critical point of view, this book was mass produced in Germany. Good Bye America is not so difficult to find nowadays but definitely a largely overlooked gem.
